NXPowerLite launched
Neuxpower releases NXPowerLite in October 2001. This commercial software utility optimizes Microsoft PowerPoint files, reducing them to a fraction of their original size.

First licenses sold
PepsiCo becomes the first NXPowerLite customer.

More than 10,000 downloads
More than 10,000 people download the free trial version of NXPowerLite.

Computer Shopper 'Hit!'
Computer Shopper awards NXPowerLite a 'Hit!'. The magazine describes the software as "A neat, simple solution to the PowerPoint size problem".

NXPowerLite 2.0 released
NXPowerLite is completely re-written to work directly on the PowerPoint files themselves, rather than by automating PowerPoint. It's the first tool of its kind to do so. The result: better quality PowerPoint files created in a fraction of the time – and users no longer need to have PowerPoint installed.

Support for mobile devices
A new optimization mode is added to NXPowerLite, allowing users to create small versions of their PowerPoint presentations that can be easily downloaded and viewed on mobile devices such as cellphones and PDAs.

Email integration for Microsoft Outlook users
An add-in is released that enables Microsoft Outlook users to automatically optimize their PowerPoint email attachments as they are sent.

Batch processing
Due to popular demand, a facility is included that enables users to search for and optimize all their PowerPoint files in a single batch.

Optimize and ZIP
It's discovered that some users like to ZIP their PowerPoint files as well as optimizing them, in order to achieve the smallest possible file sizes. ZIP compression is therefore included in NXPowerLite as an additional option.

NXPowerLite 3.0 released
NXPowerLite's functionality is expanded. It can now optimize Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheets, as well as PowerPoint presentations.

File Server Edition launched
A special version of NXPowerLite is released to help IT Administrators control their ever-increasing server storage requirements.

'Best of Show Finalist' at C3 Expo
NXPowerLite is awarded 'Best of Show Finalist' at C3 Expo in New York.

Recommended for use by US and allied/coalition navies
NXPowerLite is thoroughly tested by the US, British, Australian, Canadian and New Zealand navies as part of the annual Trident Warrior FORCEnet Sea Trial Event. The software is highly praised and recommended for use, adding to a long line of defense accreditations.

Support added for new Microsoft Office file formats
A free update adds support for Microsoft's new Open XML file formats (such as DOCX, XLSX and PPTX), introduced in Office 2007.

A wholly-owned US business, Neuxpower Inc is formed and Neuxpower's first US office opens in Philadelphia.
