No file format changes

ZIP archive optimisation 

You can even optimise files when they're stored within standard ZIP archives. NXPowerLite will look inside your .zip files and optimise any Word, Excel, PowerPoint or JPEG files it finds.

Microsoft Office integration

You can optimise your current file from within Word, Excel or PowerPoint. You can also optimise a file by right-clicking it in Windows Explorer.

Batch processing

You can optimise multiple files in one sitting – simply drag them onto the NXPowerLite window to build a list of files to optimise. If you add a folder or standard ZIP archive to the list, NXPowerLite will search through it and compress the Word, Excel, PowerPoint and JPEG files it finds.

Email integration

Automatically optimise attachments

NXPowerLite Desktop Edition integrates with your email client* to automatically optimise attachments. If you ever decide that you don't want to optimise an attachment, it's easy to temporarily disable the optimisation (it will be re-enabled next time you send an attachment).

Minimum requirements

NXPowerLite Desktop Edition 4.1.4 is compatible with PCs running Microsoft Windows 2000 or later. Microsoft Office integration requires Office 2002 or later.

Supported email clients 

Lotus Notes (6.0-8.5), Microsoft Outlook (2002-2007), Outlook Express / Windows Mail (6.0+).

Languages

Deployment

The standard version of NXPowerLite Desktop Edition is provided as an executable file that can install both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) versions of the software. It is also available as a Windows Installer .MSI file (for either the x86 or x64 architecture), which makes it easy to install and register automatically, for example via Group Policy. Alternatively, it can be provided as a stand-alone application that requires no installation – ideal for use in locked-down environments. Default settings and behavior can be set automatically using the simple command line options and Registry scripts available on request.
