1) What is your favourite thing about Neuxpower?
Our favourite thing about Neuxpower is the company culture. Honest, supportive and simple in their transactions. This means we feel that we can discuss our opinions and get answers to questions from the whole team at any given time. We feel that our opinions are valued and that Mike and Andy really understand Japanese customers and their expectations for transparency.
2) Why do you think that our partnership has been successful?
NXPowerLite is a unique and brilliant product which fits perfectly with what Japanese companies need. The quality of the product makes it very easy to sell! Additionally, Neuxpower are proactive in dealing with our demands, which makes doing business with them very straight forward. If we have any concerns they are addressed very quickly and with attention to detail.
3) What makes Neuxpower stand out from other companies?
We think that Neuxpower’s unique culture is what makes it stand out from other software companies and a delight to do business with. They are straight talking, honest and supportive. We value their belief in the importance of the Japanese market and their dedication to ensuring our customers receive the best information about their products.
4) Best customer success story from using a Neuxpower product In Japan?
We have 9,300 enterprise customers and a huge number of excellent customer stories, so we’ll tell you a recent one which is Kanden Engineering. They had about 100 file servers, they recently reduced this down to 30 file servers. They then introduced NXPowerLite for File Servers as part of their business continuity plan onto those 30 servers. Kanden have seen marked decreases in their storage costs and they are absolutely ecstatic with the results.
5) Fun fact:
A unique characteristic of Neuxpower is the time and energy they spend on us as Partners. Mike (CEO) and Andy (COO) make an annual visit to our offices in Japan which we really value. When they are there we love showing them unique aspects of Japanese culture. One of our favourite times was when we played a Japanese pub game “bamboo bamboo growing up!” (Japanese name: Takenoko Takenoko Nyokkikki!) at dinner. It was a very memorable and fun dinner. Andy and Mike are fantastic people as well as businessmen. We hope they still remember how to play this game and that they have spread it to the UK!
1) A decade is a long time, why do you think Globell and Neuxpower have had such a long and successful partnership?
From our perspective such a partnership is like a jigsaw puzzle and in this case the single parts fit perfectly together. Neuxpower provides excellent and innovative products and Globell provides more than 15 years sales/marketing experience in the German speaking market. Furthermore both companies live a very similar culture - so both teams work perfectly together.
2) What makes Neuxpower standout from other software companies?
Everybody at Globell knows, that if we have any questions (i.e. about NXPowerLite itself or licensing or tech issues, etc.) we can always rely on Neuxpower to help. Additionally, the Neuxpower team are always open for discussions about product development. Our ideas, concerns and opinions are always taken into account. That is very different to other software vendors and is a great asset of Neuxpower, a unique aspect of their culture. Put simply, it is always a pleasure to work with the product and the team behind the product.
3) Best customer success story from using Neuxpower products
One of our customers, an international operating company (5000-10,000 users), was facing a tremendous growth of their IT-costs. They decided to work against that growth instead of adding more and more hardware to their IT-infrastructure. They have learned that, even if hardware becomes cheaper and cheaper, the costs they spend on managing that hardware will still simply explode. We supported their IT-administrators in finding out, what types of files were the main reason for their storage growth explosion. The result became pretty clear: PowerPoint presentations and documents. This became even more of a problem when employees started to send these huge files via email, of course multiple times to different colleagues, as they are not allowed to use external cloud services due to their security policies. They decided to use NXPowerLite for their desktops and their file servers to regain storage space and to lower storage growth in the future. Their network is much faster, growth is curtailed and employees need much less internal support meaning their productivity levels have increased. This customer has been using NXPowerLite for more than 5 years now, renewing his maintenance every year and is just as happy with this solution as when he first acquired them.
4) Fun fact:
We really enjoyed meeting the Neuxpower partners in London some time ago. It was a unique experience to meet with the complete Neuxpower team and with their partners from around the world. The discussions about the local market differences and experiences with customers were extremely interesting and helped us to improve our sales/marketing strategies. Of course the bowling-skill-comparisons between the several teams later that day was as “productive” . We look forward to meet again soon!
